Welcome!

Our Business is Wood, Especially Antique.

Ramase/Vermont Woodflooring is a national supplier of authentic 18th and 19th century building products and new reproduction flooring.  For over forty years, we have been providing architects, contractors and individuals throughout North America with choice building materials and architectural elements such as doors, windows, mantels and floors. We supply material recovered from early homes, barns and factories including antique hand-hewn beams and reclaimed barn-siding.  Wood salvaged from these sites is old growth timber with strength and stability impossible to harvest today.  The look and character of this wood in your home is impressive; conveying an understated appearance of warmth, style and history.  We hand select each order to meet your specifications.

We specialize in: Wide Board Plank Flooring, Antique and Vintage Flooring Selection, Antique Hand-Hewn Beams, Millwork,

Reclaimed Barn Siding, Antique Houses and Log Cabins, Building Materials, and Antique Stones.

Please take a minute to look over our site and let us know how we can help you…

We still keep a presence in Vermont, but we conduct most of our business in Woodbury, Connecticut.  This location offers us and most of our customers a shorter distance to travel.  It is also where the family sawmill has been for 60 years.

Woodbury is located in western Connecticut, between Danbury and Waterbury off I-84

It is 75 miles from New York City and 140 miles from Boston.  Known as the “Antiques Capital of Connecticut”, the town is home to over 45 antique dealers and shops, most of which are along Main Street.
